School Catering

We have a kitchen in the school from which hot lunches can be purchased. The kitchen caters for the medical and religious dietary needs of all of the pupils. Menus are sent home to all parents at the beginning of each term and can be viewed below.

We operate a ‘cashless’ system and ask all parents to only use our e-payment method. This can be done online using a secure website called ParentPay or in cash at local stores where you see the PayPoint logo using a barcode. If you wish your child to have school lunches, please contact the School Office, who will inform you the cost of a meal and send you information on how to access ParentPay, your username, password and a barcode. The School Office will be more than happy to answer any queries you may have, however, ParentPay also have helpdesk details on their site for any technical queries.

Meals need to be paid for in advance. Your support in using ParentPay will help the school enormously.

Free school meals are available for those pupils who qualify; this is not just if you are unemployed as there are other benefits that entitle you to apply. If you are unsure, please discuss with someone in the School Office. Registering for Free School Meals is confidential.

If preferred, parents can send in a packed lunch for their child.

Early Years and Primary pupils eat their meals seated in class groups and supported by familiar Teaching Assistants. Secondary pupils use a ‘cafeteria’ system – queuing for their meals and choosing where to sit. Teaching Assistants are on hand to support them as necessary. The school is also able to manage tube feeding where this is prescribed.

Lunchtime for Primary aged pupils is from 12.05-12.40pm and for Secondary aged pupils, it is from 12.45-1.15pm.
